GOALS of Academic Unit:

The Graduate School shall be the center of human resource development in the fields of Education, Science and Technology.

OBJECTIVES

MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION

Major: Educational Administration and Supervision

  1. Train and produce teachers to become head teachers, master teachers and Principals equip with the needed knowledge and skills in the administration of educational institution.
  2. Equip teachers with values needed in the administration of educational institution.
  3. Develop teachers with the knowledge and skills in the conduct of research.
  4. Train technical-vocational teachers with the skills required in an effective and efficient implementation of the government’s thrusts and programs for development.
  5. Develop the specialized manpower who will take the leadership role in the various fields of science and technology as well as in other organizational system

MASTER OF ARTS IN TEACHING VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Major: Technology and Livelihood Education

  1. Upgrade the academic and technical competencies of professional required for the technological development Region IX and the whole Mindanao.
  2. Develop manpower who can teach technology and livelihood education in the basic and tertiary education.
  3. Train technical-vocational teachers with skills required in an effective and efficient implementation of the government’s thrust and programs for development.
  4. Develop the specialized manpower who will the technology as well as in other organizational systems.

MASTER OF ARTS IN TEACHING VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Major: Home Economics

  1. Train teachers from the secondary and elementary education with skills required in the technology and home economics.
  2. Develop technology and home economics teachers on the different blocks of technology and home economics.
  3. Upgrade technology and home economics teachers on the thrust of the new secondary curriculum.

DOCTOR OF EDUCATION

Major: Educational Administration and Supervision

  1. Train teachers to be effective and efficient managers and leaders in the field of education
  2. Develop teachers to be research oriented in the fields of education, science and technology.
  3. Upgrade the academic and technical competencies of professionals required for the development of Region IX and the whole of Mindanao.
  4. Train teachers with skills required in an effective and efficient implementation of the government

 

DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY

Major: Technological Management

  1. Upgrade the academic and technical competencies of professionals required for the technological development of Region IX and whole of Mindanao.
  2. Train technical-vocational teachers to take leadership role in managing technical-vocational institution in the country.
  3. Develop the manpower who will take the leadership role in the fields of science, technological and education.
