Along with the other offices across the Philippines, all employees and students of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University joined in the 1st Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2024, held at the ZPPSU Open Field today, March 25.
Per ZPPSU-Disaster Risks Reduction and Management Office Director Dr. Michael Cabiles, the activity aims to simulate the actual emergency situations as well as for the university community to be reminded of being #LagingHanda in times of disasters.
To note, the NSED religiously holds every quarter of the year, and this is a mandate from the Office of the Civil Defense.
