Another milestone in the growth of ZCSPC’s infrastructure projects took place on July 22 with the ribbon cutting ceremony and blessing of the newly-constructed Library Building and Student Center Building. The event was set to coincide with the school’s celebration of its 114th Founding Anniversary and important guests came to grace the occasion. Hon. Celso L. Lobregat, the father of ZCSPC, was the distinguished guest of the occasion. Known to be the Father of ZCSPC, he had made possible the funding of the two projects during his term as a Congressman of District 1.

The Library Building is a two-storey building worth P 14,490,193.03 with the capacity of holding 600 students at one seating. The entire building is fully airconditioned and the facilities include a mini-conference room, discussion room, study area and free wifi access. The new Library Building now is an upgrade and improvement of the old library. Currently, the school’s library is continuously improving and updating its services by providing updated books and reference materials. It is also currently procuring new computers and online databases of engineering e-books which students can soon access for free. To better cater to the needs of the students, it will be open six (6) days a week (Monday to Saturday) with no noon break.

The Student Center Building is a 4 million project of Hon. Celso Lobregat coursed through DPWH. It will house the offices of the Supreme Student Council (SSC), its Adviser and the Dean of Student Affairs. A portion of the space will also be intended as a student lounge where some student facilities, such as study area, books, newspapers and a TV, will soon be provided.
