The Philippine-American Educational Foundation is the world’s oldest and only continuously operating Fulbright Commission. It is responsible for the administration of the flagship foreign exchange scholarship program of the United States of America in the Philippines. This program’s goals are to increase binational research collaboration, cultural understanding, and the exchange of ideas between the two countries.
Earlier today, Executive Director Julio Amador III of Fulbright Philippines paid courtesy visit to ZPPSU and presented Fulbright scholarship opportunities to the faculty of ZPPSU.
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is one of the scholarship opportunities. This is a scholarship opportunity for Filipinos to study at the graduate level in the United States (master’s or doctorate studies), or to undertake doctoral dissertation research. This program covers expenses such as round-trip airfare to a foreign destination, a maintenance stipend paid monthly, tuition and fees, a book and supply allowance, and medical and accidental insurance coverage.
